Wrought Iron is known for its antique, elegant and classic style. They are stately, and durable lasting for many years. Because of their strength, they are known for their security purposes. Though they will last for many years they will develop rust in damp and harsh climates. This usually happens from a chip or scratch. It can be easily fixed with sandpaper and applying paint. The cost can be expensive and the installation can be labor-intensive. Wrought iron fences need to be designed and installed so children cannot climb upon them.
