Best Above Ground Pools

Are you one of the many who is contemplating an inground pool vs. the best above ground pools?

When you have a family, it can be hard to find things for them to do during the summer. Having an above ground pool for them to play in is ideal. Above ground pools can provide years of entertainment and relaxation for your family. But what is the best above ground pool? How much does it cost to install an above ground pool? How many years does an above ground pool last?

Here are some answers for you.

The Best Above Ground Pool

What is the best above ground pool? There is no right answer to this question. The best above ground pools are what type best fits the needs of your family.

There are several things to consider. First, you need to think about how much space you have in your yard. Many people like these pools with decks. That way, you can enjoy playing in the pool, as well as relaxing by it.

You also need to think about the number of people who may be using the pool. If you have a large family, you may want to consider getting a bigger pool.

In general, you will want to think about the number of feet the pool takes up. Then, you must add 7 feet for decking. For example, you want the pool in the backyard, and you want a round pool that is 18 feet wide. Your backyard has to be able to handle a 25-foot radius of pool and decking. If you have a small backyard, this might not be an option for you. You will also need to make sure the ground where you want to put the pool is level. Otherwise, there will be more water on one side.

Oval Above Ground Pools

You may have thought about having an oval above ground pool. Many people think that oval above ground pools are stronger than round ones. That may be because oval pools have straight sides, and round pools have curved sides.

People also like oval above ground pools because they look more like inground pools. If you have a large enough yard, you may want to consider an oval above ground pool. They are available in larger sizes. However, because their sides are narrower, oval above ground pools may also work in a smaller yard.

Deep Above Ground Pools

Families want an above ground pool that is deep enough for them to enjoy. Some of the best above ground pools are all one depth, however, they can have deeper depths at one end.

You might be curious how an above ground pool can have a “deep end.” Round above ground pools cannot have a deep end because of their design. However, oval pools can have a deep end. You will have to dig a hole at the “deep end” for it to work. In addition, you need to make sure the pool you choose has that capability.

The Cost of an Above Ground Pool

Depending on the size, shape, and depth of the pool you want, the cost of an above ground pool varies. You can find the most basic pool with no-frills for under $1,000. This might work for you if you want a simple pool with no deck. However, if you want the above ground pool installed and a deck put up, the cost begins at around $2,500. Above ground pools can run as high as $10,000.
