Our swimming pool packages can vary from very basic to all-inclusive, depending on what you are looking for. We will go over the pros and cons of an above-ground versus an inground pool. Our packages include installation, construction, and maintenance of your pool so you can be free to enjoy your pool instead of cleaning it constantly.

We will walk you through every step, from picking the style of your dream pool to laying it where it will go. We even offer special rates for customers who sign up for maintenance packages at installation.

Above Ground Pool Pros and Cons

An above-ground pool is an excellent, quick addition to your home. This selection is generally for the family who doesn’t want to do extensive construction on their property or someone who would prefer to have a more temporary solution to the need to swim at home. It’s also excellent for colder environments where the ground freezes or where it’s difficult to dig due to soil density or rocky soil.

Most owners want to build decking to surround the pool to secure it and create a more aesthetically pleasing look. The cost is obviously much cheaper at about $1000 to $3000, but the pool only lasts about 7 to 15 years, a shorter lifespan than an in-ground pool.

Inground Pool Pros and Cons

An inground pool can increase your house value and bring a lot of fun to your yard. Inground pools can take about 6-8 weeks to install in perfect conditions. You’re looking at about $30,000 to $50.000 for pools installed by a local builder, but it varies a lot due to the size, depth, location, and shape of your pool. Adding additional features to the pool design will also determine the final price.

You have more freedom with what to do with your inground pool, but the cost goes up. They can also last a very long time, only needing to be redone every 25 years or so. They are easier to self-clean than above-ground pools, but that maintenance also comes with a price tag.

Building Your Dream Pool

Building a swimming pool is attainable, but there are many other things to consider when choosing the type of pool for your home.

Water safety

If you have children in the house, maintaining a watchful eye on both your children and the pool can be a new thing. Seventy-seven percent of drownings last year included children under five years old. Constant vigilance and proper safety precautions should be made around swimming pools, especially for small children.

Isolation Fencing

Surrounding your pool by a five-foot locked fence is needed to keep your pool secure against wandering children and animals in your neighborhood. It is also the first defense against any small children that love swimming in your home. Needing a key to get to the pool is just one more layer of security.

Liability

If those neighborhood kids or animals make it to your unsecured pool and are harmed, you will be liable legally for not securing your pool. Get those isolation fences up!

Maintenance

Maintenance is essential to the longevity of any pool. Making sure you have routine care for your above or inground pool will only make it last longer, perform better, and make sure you’re swimming in cleaner water.
